My friend thinks he has a keylogger on his computer?
So, my friend thinks he has a keylogger on his computer. If he does, then the keylogger is most likely posing as a Runescape gold generator, several of which my friend has downloaded lately. He believes it's a keylogger due to his Runescape account being hacked, and then the password being changed repeatedly even after he changes it back. (He doesn't use the gold generator program after changing passwords, as far as I know.)

My question is: Is this actually a keylogger, or just the generator program taking his account credentials? He's scanned his computer with Avast! (free version), Norton 360, and Spybot Search&Destroy. None of them have turned up any keyloggers.

Try to format the hard drive then reinstall the operating system.
