To protect the industry players from the pirates of CDs and DVDs, scientists are engaged in developing a new technology based software that will prove to be very helpful in tracking the chain of thieves involved in duplicating discs.

Piracy of CDs and DVDs has been quite prevalent in Indian media and entertainment industry, leading them to bear a significant loss of 4,000 million per year. The piracy makes the discs very much cheaper than their original rates.

Frauds and people involved in piracy have constantly hurt producers and directors and have worst affected film industry business. Illegal activities related to piracy flourish into the hubs of Middle East and pirated discs of Indian films are circulated in markets worldwide. This new spy software is seen as a ray of hope for people engaged in media and entertainment industry.
